Our Mission

Our mission is to influence people in our community with the character of a life grounded in the biblical principles of God's Kingdom. To be agents of restoration, leading them to discover their true identity, purpose and leadership. To empower them to govern their lives and develop their potential to live in Christ to the fullest.

Our Core Beliefs

God

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

The Father

We believe in a God who is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move, and exist. He is our heavenly Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

The Son

Jesus Christ walked the earth fully human, but at the same time He is God. He bridges the gap between God and man and is the only plan for bringing people far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life so He could be a substitution for us on the cross and fully satisfy God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so we could have life.

The Holy Spirit

His presence assures us of a relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin and makes them aware of God’s righteousness and the coming judgement. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Revelation

God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the Holy Scriptures, and through all of creation itself.

Mankind

Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.

Sin

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God, based on the merits of the death of His Son, and is obtained by faith. Salvation is effected by personal repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification), and personal acceptance of Him into one’s life as Lord and Savior (regeneration). The new life in Christ includes the privileges of adoption and inheritance in the kingdom of God’s beloved Son. Salvation is an act of free will in response to God’s personal love for mankind.

The Church

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples of all nations.

Gift of the Spirit

Resurrection

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to bring the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
